DOL Catholic High Schools find success in 2016 Fall sports

Here's a follow-up on the outstanding Diocese of Lansing Catholic High School teams Fall season successes across the board:

Football

Jackson Lumen Christi won its first state championship since 2009, beating Maple City Glen Lake 26-14 at Ford Field on Nov. 23

 

Girls Volleyball

Ann Arbor Father Gabriel Richard Catholic High School Girls Volleyball team advanced to Regionals this year, finishing the regular season 22-5 and being ranked No. 4 in the Michigan Interscholastic Volleyball Coaches Association Rankings.

Cross Country 

Lansing Catholic Boys and Girls Cross Country teams placed second overall in Division 3. 

Powers Catholic Girls Cross Country team placed fourth overall in Division 2.

Soccer

Flint Powers boys soccer earned it's second trip to the state finals since 2013, coming just short of a state title with a loss to Grand Rapids Catholic Central.  
 

The Diocese of Lansing's four outstanding Catholic High Schools are located in Ann ArborFlint, Jackson and Lansing.
